#5 – Ricky Carmichael – Austin Forkner – Jason Weigandt

RCH/Yoshimura/Suzuki Factory Racing’s Ricky Carmichael is undoubtedly busier now than when he was actually racing for championships. His involvement at every level speaks volumes to the commitment RC has to the success of our sport and we’ll get to the upcoming busy schedule beginning with the Monster Energy Motofest going down right here in Atlanta. We also have some serious bench racing to do with all kinds of stuff going down in Arizona to discuss, too. Check out www.RickyCarmichael.com for information on the upcoming RCU, camps and RCASX in Daytona.

Monster Energy Pro Circuit’s Austin Forkner came into the SX season with an impressive and strong finish to the Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship last summer. Obviously, supercross is a different animal and has traditionally not been kind or forgiving to rookies, but Austin has improved each round and finally landed on the podium last weekend in Glendale. We’ll get his thoughts on the season and when the best time is to plant and harvest crops.

Racer X’s Jason Weigandt will be making an appearance on the show per the rules of his binding eternal contract.

#4 – Cole Seely – Justin Hill – Grant Langston

Team Honda HRC’s Cole Seely landed on the podium for the first time last weekend after a solid ride on a technical track that deteriorated throughout the night due to the weeklong rains that lasted up until race day. It’s an entirely new championship picture with the point’s leader out for the season and we’ll get Cole’s thoughts on the race that new reality.

The 250SX West battle is shaping up nicely with the top three riders within seven points after Anaheim II. Monster Energy Pro Circuit’s Justin Hill has bounced back nicely after a disappointing opening round and made his claim in the title hunt with a convincing win last weekend. A lot has changed since we last had Justin on and look forward to catching up tonight.

We’re used to hearing Grant Langston as the color analyst beside Jason Weigandt calling the Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship, but the Zulu Warrior has plenty to say on the supercross season, too. We always appreciate his candid perspective on things and have a lot to cover tonight. I was also able to preview his new DVD, Grant Langston, Motocross Training with the Champ that just recently dropped. This DVD from the former champion is packed with insightful tips and knowledge that can help riders of any skill level. Check out www.grantlangstonmx.com for more information or to order your copy.

#3 – David Pingree – Andy Bowyer – Jimmy Decotis

You could almost hear the collective cheer from the northeast when GEICO Honda’s Jimmy Decotis grabbed the holeshot and lead for over half the race last weekend in San Diego. Our listeners are always pumped to hear from Jimmy and we look forward to catching up tonight.

It’s Racer X’s David Pingree’s world and we all just live in it. I can’t wait to hear his take and perspective on the season thus far. Check your politically-correct coat and feelers at the door.

Fans around the world tune in every Saturday to the Monster Energy Supercross Race Day Live show for live practice, qualifying and insider interviews you won’t see anywhere else. It has been a game-changer for our sport and ushered in a new ritual for fans like us that just can’t get enough on race day. Andy Bowyer is one half of the dynamic duo that brings us the action every Saturday and will join us for some solid bench racing and more with tonight.

#2 – Josh Grant – Jimmy Albertson – Jake Weimer

Monster Energy Kawasaki’s Josh Grant finally had the surgeries required to fix both of his injury-plagued ankles and is coming into 2017 healthier than he’s been for quite some time. JG’s solid top-10 in that deep field at Anaheim is certainly proof of that.

Suzuki/FMF/Merge Racing’s Jimmy Alberston found himself in the turbulent off-season when he lost his former team sponsor, but Top Jimmy has made a career with his resilience and dedication to do whatever it takes to go racing. Thankfully, he was able to put together a solid privateer effort and is back on a 450 for the year.

AutoTrader.com/Monster Energy/Toyota/JGR Suzuki’s Jake Weimer prepared the entire off-season to be ready for the call of an inevitable injury leading up to the opener. He got the call just days before when JGR dropped the news that Justin Barcia would miss at least four rounds. It wasn’t a surprise to anyone when Jake put in a solid night, including a semi race win.
