#51 – Nothing Good Comes Easy – What is your Hard?

Download Episode!

Marriage is hard – divorce is hard.  Obesity is hard – being fit is hard.  Being in debt is hard – being financially disciplined is hard.  Communication is hard. Not communicating is hard. Choose your hard. Life will never be easy – it will always be “hard” – the way it should be because we should respect what we earn; however, we can choose our “hard”!  During Podcast #51 Coach Robb describes his personal experience of choosing his hard and walks through the four attributes associated with what defines “hard” –  perception, attitude, intent and approach.

For the second half of the show, grab a piece of paper and get ready to jot down the six imperative steps to establishing a blueprint for overcoming and embracing your “hard”.  Coach Robb doesn’t guarantee that the physical and mental effort is going to be easier, because nothing good in life comes easy!  Instead, he does promise that with a slightly different perspective, a change of attitude, having clarity of intent, and following a definitive strategy, you will enjoy the fruits of your mental and physical labor and the best that life has to offer in all four quadrants of life –  personally, professionally, financially, as well as your health, wellness and athletic performance.

Coach Robb #50 – Why Aren’t You Giving Your Body What it Needs to Flourish?

Download Episode!

One of the biggest challenges Coach Robb faces when talking with clients is the misnomers associated with dropping body fat. Mainstream media would have you believe that suppressing appetite through caffeine, herbs, or pills is not only okay, but healthy. The fact is that when you do not eat, you are starving your body of the nutrients it needs to fuel both mental and physical activity and rebuild the muscles and support the systems that we have broken down due to stress and training. In the first half of Podcast #50, Coach Robb sheds light on the difference between a suppressed appetite and a satisfied appetite when it comes to dropping body fat in a healthy, and sustainable manner. When you hear how you can get the same (or better!) results without sacrificing your health, you will definitely change your perspective and eating habits.
In the second half, Coach Robb talks sports drinks and electrolytes. When discussing the role of a sports drink with our clients, we are surprised how many people are confused by their purpose in creating and sustaining energy. If this is unclear to you, be sure to listen in and hear Coach Robb take a deep dive into questions such as – What is an isotonic drink? What is the role of electrolytes? And how should a sports drink be formulated?
